George Heinrich Kroll, artist name "Crola" was born on 06 June 1804 in Dresden and buildup early refers with his grandfather in Meissen. After whose it procured death itself the necessary means for the continuation of its studies, in which it gave hours. In the autumn 1825 it moved to Dresden. In its life memories Crola writes over its relationship with Caspar David Friedrich: "the old landscape painter Friedrich promoted me in his way. He never said praise to me about the work, which I showed him... But by persons, who possessed its confidence, as he spoken about my striving and its future were insured to me with attention... " By its diligence Crola in the duke of Coburg finds a first sponsor. But dependence prepares uneasiness for it and it moves 1828 for the first time into the resin. To one and one half year Crola in Ilse castle stays. Attentively it studies nature and paints pictures of the Ilse and Eckertal. With these pictures the 25 year old Crola on the art exhibition in Dresden the interest of the public wakes and the critics.
