Western Art -
Western art painting is a different way of representing subjects and objects on the canvas. Western style of painting mainly represents cowboy western art, horsemen, and western landscape paintings. Many famous personalities contribute to the art of western painting as such. They are Frederic Remington, Thomas Cole, Charles M. Russell, Alfred Miller, Dunton and Johnson.Russell was purely a western artist. He very well knew the subject matter he dealt with and he set the standard for many other western artists to follow. The western wall art he focused were The Wagon Boss, The Fire Boat, Through the Alkali, all which concentrated more on the courage and boldness of the horsemen and the powerful horses.
There were also western landscape paintings by Charles which portrayed simplicity in the landscape structure and the treatment he employed. An example is Lake McDonald.
All western art works carried brilliance in representation and a different kind of treatment employed on the canvas. Western wall art carried almost all the subjects around the world and considered all the minute details in the art of painting. Western oil paintings also had a lot of admirers, and art lovers considered it as one of the best works ever done in painting because of its extra ordinary finish.
